The Crossing Fellowship Stirling (CFS) aims, as followers of Jesus, to cultivate our relationship with the Lord, with each other, and with those outside of our fellowship.
We seek to do this through three main principles…DEVOTE, DEVELOP, DECLARE!
DEVOTE
We seek to devote ourselves to the Lord and to each other.
To the Lord…
…Through our worship, which is spirit-led, fresh and sincere.
…Through our love of God
…Through our words and actions in life
…Through our service unto Him
To each other…
…In our love for one another
…In our forgiveness
…In our acceptance of each other
…In our serving each other
DEVELOP
We seek to develop through biblical discipleship…
…Through the verse-by-verse teaching of the whole Word of God
…Through various studies and groups that help in the growth of our fellowship
…Through spirit-led prayer, private and corporate
…Through Christ-centered fellowship
DECLARE
Our aim is to declare the Word of God and the Gospel of Christ throughout Stirling, as our “Jerusalem”, then onto the Highlands and Islands of Scotland, and to the world, fulfilling the Great Commission found in Matthew 28:19 & Mark 16:15.
We seek to do this…
…Through community outreach and service via special events, formal and informal
…Through inviting those we come in contact with to join us at CFS
…Through the formation of Bible studies and events in other cities and towns in other parts of the Highlands and Islands, as opportunity arises
